Understanding what brow lift surgery involves, can help you feel more confident and prepared for your journey. The procedure is carefully planned to achieve the results you desire, whilst keeping your safety and comfort paramount. From your initial consultation to recovery, each step is designed to offer a smooth experience. Below we outline what you can expect from the process.

Consultation

The first step is to have a comprehensive brow lift consultation during which, Mr Ridha will assess your brow and your overall health as well as discuss your goals and desires, to determine your suitability for the procedure. He’ll then select the most appropriate brow lift technique in your case, creating a personalised treatment plan.

Procedure

Depending on the type of brow lift, the procedure would be performed under a local or general anaesthetic. Again depending on the type of brow lift, the incisions are either placed in the scalp within the hair or along the upper edge of the eyebrow itself. The brow is then adjusted to achieve the desired result and the incisions are closed and a dressing applied.

Recovery

After the procedure you’ll receive instructions on aftercare and what to expect during the recovery period. For a few days after surgery, you should keep your head elevated to reduce swelling. Brow lift recovery times vary, but most patients can return to their normal activities within a week. Swelling and bruising will gradually subside, revealing a refreshed appearance.
