As we age we develop lines in our forehead and the position of our eyebrows begin to sag. This can result in a fatigued, angry or worrisome appearance that can be especially frustrating when it contradicts the emotion we wish to project. A more youthful appearance can be restored with a brow lift.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
As we age we begin to lose the elasticity in the skin and soft tissue surrounding our eyes. This results in a tired and aged appearance. A blepharoplasty is a procedure which involves removing excess skin and/or fat from the upper or lower eyelids to restore a more youthful appearance. Mr Ridha ensures the preservation of the eyelid contour and combined with his attention to detail achieves youthful and natural results.
Ear Pinning (Pinnaplasty/Otoplasty)
Ears come in different shapes and sizes. Variations, such as prominence can be a cause of embarrassment and can affect one’s self-confidence. A pinnaplasty, also known as ‘otoplasty’ or ‘ear pinning’, is a procedure that improves the appearance of your ears by correcting any protrusion or disproportion.
As we age our skin progressively loses its elasticity, our muscles lose their tone and as a consequence, the skin and fat in our neck begins to sag and droop. Contributing factors include our genetics, sun exposure and smoking. The formation of deep lines weakened muscles and sagging skin under and around the jaw line may cause the appearance of a “turkey neck” and/or “neck bands”. A neck lift will effectively restore the contour of the jaw and neckline as well as remove the loose skin. Each patient is unique and Mr Ridha will take his time to listen and understand your desires before formulating a treatment plan to achieve your objectives.
As we age the skin and soft tissues of our face begin to lose their elasticity and tone resulting in the formation of wrinkles, deepening of the folds, loss of our jawline and neck contour, creating an aged look. Contributing factors include our genetics, sun exposure and smoking. A facelift restores a youthful appearance by rejuvenating the face, jawline and neck contour as well as diminishing fine lines and folds. Mr Ridha will carry out a detailed assessment of your face, taking great care to ensure that he recommends the treatment most appropriate for your facial structure and degree of laxity. He will ensure that your facelift is personalised to create your desired look. His aim is to revitalise as well as refresh your appearance whilst retaining the natural character of your face.
Split and Stretched Earlobe Repair
Ear lobe piercings may stretch or even split with time with the use of earrings. This could be due to the use of heavy earrings or related to ones genetics. More recently, there has been a trend of different types of piercings that stretch the ear lobe.
An earlobe repair restores a natural appearing ear lobe. The techniques vary depending on the complexity of the split and degree of ear lobe stretch. This includes excision and direct repair to specialist techniques such as rotational flaps.
Nose Reshaping (Rhinoplasty)
Rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a ‘nose job’ is a procedure that corrects and improves the aesthetics and/or function of the nose. Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose to address any areas of disproportion thereby creating facial harmony. In non-surgical or liquid rhinoplasty, temporary fillers are used to correct any contour irregularities or improve the shape. This is performed as an outpatient procedure, requires minimal recovery and delivers immediate results. Mr Ridha performs surgical preservation rhinoplasties. The principle being to reshape the nose with minimal removal of tissue and preserving the supporting structures. This helps achieves long lasting results and maintain the function of the nose. This type of rhinoplasty is performed either through an open or closed approach depending on the complexity and the part of the nose to be addressed.
