Less risk of complications

Their use of SmoothSilk technology means that there is much less of an inflammatory response by the body. 

This means that your body will not react in a negative way with a foreign object entering the body, which has been the case with other breast implants. 

By using the Preserve technique, we insert the implant using smaller incisions, which helps to reduce any trauma to the muscle, resulting in less bruising and faster healing. 

The design of Motiva implants also means lower chances of capsular contracture (scar tissue formation round the implant).

Initial consultation

Your first step is to meet with Mr Hyder Ridha for an initial consultation. During this appointment he will assess your skin quality, chest wall shape, and natural breast tissue.

Breast surgery

Motiva Preservé breast surgery allows Mr Ridha to reshape and resize your breasts with smaller incisions than traditional breast implants. 

We use a local anaesthetic to perform the surgery and you can expect it to take around 20-30 minutes. 

Mr Ridha will make a small incision, often no more than 2-3cm to preserve your natural breast tissue. 

The incision is usually made under the crease underneath the breast (inflammatory fold). 

But it can also be made into the areola or armpit. 

We then carefully create a breast pocket using a balloon-like device to gently create space for the implant. 

Once the implants are inserted, Mr Ridha will close the incision cleanly to ensure you see minimal scarring. 

Recovery time and aftercare 

The recovery time is minimal and most patients go back to their normal activities in a couple of days. 

We will provide you with detailed post-op aftercare instructions which will help your skin and body heal. 

This will include a medical bra which is designed to support your breasts as they heal. 

Our medical team will also check in on you regularly to answer any questions you might have and ensure you are recovering well.
