Tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Excess sagging skin in the abdomen following pregnancy and/or weight loss may cause a feeling of self-consciousness, especially when there are stretch marks affecting the area. This redundant skin can also cause difficulty with fitting of clothes and unfortunately doesn’t shrink away with exercise.

An abdominoplasty, also known as a ‘tummy tuck’, addresses this problem whilst simultaneously allowing correction of separated abdominal muscles which commonly occurs with pregnancy. The excess skin is removed leaving a flat well contoured and shaped abdomen.

There are many variants of abdominoplasty depending on the extent of excess tissue that needs to be removed, such as mini abdominoplasty, extended abdominoplasty and fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty.

The procedure may be combined with liposuction allowing high definition liposculpture of the skin and fat, resulting in a more athletic look.

Mr Ridha has extensive knowledge and experience in advanced tummy tuck techniques. After a careful assessment, he will recommend the suitable type of abdominoplasty that will address your goals and deliver lasting results.
